Peef is a personal website that offers content on IT in general and the Odoo ERP in particular, and also provides a simplified marketplace that facilitates connections between clients (businesses or individuals) and developers.

These Terms of Use govern the use of the platform by users, whether they are clients or developers.

2. Registration and User Account

  • To access certain features of the platform, users are registered by invitation by providing information such as email address, first and last name.
  • Once the invitation is received, they can change their password.
  • Users are responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • However, passwords are encrypted.

3. Use of the Platform

  • Users agree to use the platform in accordance with these Terms of Use.
  • It is prohibited to publish illegal, defamatory, offensive content, or content that violates the rights of third parties.
  • Users are responsible for their own content published on the platform.

4. Content and Connections

  • The Peef platform offers content on new technologies and programming.
  • The platform facilitates connections between clients and freelance developers.
  • Clients post their projects and platform administrators review them before making the content publicly accessible.
  • Users are responsible for concluding and executing their contracts with other users.
  • However, the platform may intervene through PROXIMA TECHNOLOGIES CAMEROON SAS at the request of either party (client or developer) to assist them in drafting and executing the contract.

5. Payments and Billing

  • Payment and billing terms are defined in the contract between users.
  • All actions by the Peef platform are carried out through PROXIMA TECHNOLOGIES CAMEROON SAS, Address: Douala - Cameroon P.O. Box 3768

6. Responsibilities and Warranties

  • The platform is not responsible for damages caused by users to each other.
  • The platform does not guarantee the quality of services provided by freelance developers.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Content published on the platform is subject to a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, granting the platform the right to use it in accordance with this license.

8. Privacy

  • The platform respects user privacy.
  • The platform only discloses users' personal information to competent authorities or with user consent.
  • The platform uses the following third-party services:
    • Mailjet: for managing email communications.
    • Google Analytics: to collect information about platform usage for analysis purposes.

9. Modification of Terms

  • The platform reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time.
  • Users will be notified of changes, and their continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

  • The platform may terminate an account in case of violation of these Terms of Use.
  • Users may terminate their account at any time.
